Angel investment activity down in 2016...but still bright spots

The University of New Hampshire Center of Venture Research published results of 2016 angel investment activity. The results are sobering for startup entrepreneurs. Here's why?

1. Fewer angels invested in 2016 -- down 2.3%

2. Total dollars invested was down 13.5%

3. Investors favored more advanced, revenue generating companies rather than raw startups
