Capitalization Table

A capitalization table or “cap table” is a summary history of a company’s securities issuances. The table details the type of security, its primary pricing terms, number of shares issued and ownership percentage in a company. This summary should include all founders’ common shares, preferred shares, warrants and stock option plans. Well-prepared business plans include a cap table for easy reference for readers.
